Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Alcohol:
Alcohol WILL be sold at LP Field during the Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl. Beer will be available on all seating levels and liquor will be available on the Club Level only.


Animals:
Animals are not allowed in LP Field.


ATMs:
ATMs are located at various locations inside LP Field.


Backpacks / Bags:
All bags, backpacks and purses larger than 8 1/2'' X 11" are not allowed in LP Field.


Banners:
Banners will be checked by the LP Field staff as you enter the stadium. No advertisements, no wood or metal can be used. Must be in good taste Banners may not be hung over equipment or existing signage, including field wall.


Binoculars:
Binoculars are allowed inside LP Field; however, binocular cases are not allowed inside LP Field.


Camera / Video Equipment:
Video cameras are not allowed inside LP Field.


Campers / RVs:
There is RV parking at LP Field. Information about RV Parking passes will be available closer to the day of the Bowl. Overnight parking is NOT permitted in stadium parking lots.


Children:
Children under 2 years-old are admitted FREE to LP field as long as they do not require their own seat (Must sit in parents lap).


Cooler / Containers:
No containers, including cans, bottles or coolers, drinks or food can be brought into LP Field.


Elevators:
Elevators for handicapped fans are located at gates 1 & 6 are located in center of east and west club concourses of LP Field. Each entry/exit ramp lower also includes escalators. Escalators go up only until mid-way throughout the third period at which time they are reserved to go down only.


ESPN:
The Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl will be telecast internationally on ESPN TV at 3:00pm CST.

First Aid:
Located on main and upper concourses. Paramedics are positioned on the east and west walkways of the main and upper levels and on the endzone concourses.


Food / Concessions:
There are 60 concession stands throughout LP Field. There are also sports bars and a specialty area on the Club concourses. Food includes such items such as burgers, sandwiches, fries, hot dogs, pretzels, nachos, pizza, deli, sandwiches, and more. Travelers checks are excepted at the concessions when signed in cashier's presence. ATMs are located on the main concourses. No credit cards are accepted at concession stands. The stadium meets ADA guidelines for concession stands.


Grilling:
Grilling in the parking lots of LP Field is allowed on game day. Fans must properly dispose of charcoal and other waste.


Lapel Pins:
Attendees of the Gaylord Hotels Welcome Dinner/Luncheon will receive a complimentary lapel pin.
Lapel pins MAY be available at various retail locations in the Gaylord Opryland Resort.


Malls:
  • Opry Mills - is the closest shopping mall. The Opry Mills is conveniently located behind the Gaylord Opryland Resort
  • The Mall at Green Hills - is located on Hillsboro Road, which is off of I-440.
  • Cool Springs Galleria - is located in Franklin, south on I-65


Merchandise:
Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl merchandise can be purchased at various retail locations in the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. Merchandise will also be available at various locations of the LP Field concourse on game day.


Movie Theaters:
  • Regal Opry Mills 20 - The theater is conveniently located behind the Gaylord Opryland Resort



Practices (Team):
Team practice information will be posted closer to the day of the Bowl.


Press Conferences:
Press conferences are closed to the public by request of the participating schools.

LP Field:
The Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl will be played at LP Field, home of the NFL's Tennessee Titans. The 68,000-seat, open-air, natural-grass LP Field is located on 105 acres on the east bank of the Cumberland River overlooking downtown Nashville. On Feb. 20, 2001, The field was rated as the 4th best playing surface in the National Football League, according to a league-wide player survey.

Ticket Will-Call:
The Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl ticket will-call will be open on game day only. It is located at Gate 1 at LP Field. More information will be posted at a later date.


Umbrellas:
Are not permitted inside LP Field.
