Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl

This year, for the first time ever, the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl is turning Broadway into a two-day block party at the Fan Zone on Broadway!

Fans and locals alike are encouraged to visit us on Broadway for two days of food, drinks, activities, demos, music, and fun! Visiting the Fan Zone is free, and will include outdoor concerts, interactive games, and more!

The Fan Zone on Broadway will be open from 11 AM to 9 PM on December 28th and 10 AM to 9:30 PM on December 29th.

A full schedule of events, performances, and demonstrations will be available soon.

→ Food, Drink, and Fun

Fans will be able to take in local food and drink from some of our favorite Nashville restaurants and bars, with appearances and demonstrations by some of Nashville's top celebrity chefs.

→ Live Fire on Broadway

In conjunction with Butchery Fresh, Creation Gardens will be hosting a live-fire cooking area on Thursday and Friday featuring some of the city's best chefs fanning the flames! Food will be offered for free to passerby's downtown celebrating this year's Bowl game. You might even learn a thing or two and elevate your tailgating game to the next level.

At 4:00 PM on December 28th, at the stage at 1st and Broadway, be sure to see some of the world's best professional eaters compete in the Hattie B's Hot Chicken Eating World Championships with bragging rights and a grand prize of $750 on the line.

Before the game, enjoy a pep rally for each team, beginning with the Kentucky Pep Rally at 11:00 AM with the Northwestern Pep Rally at 12:00 PM.

Let's not forget: this is Music City, right? At the stage at 1st and Broadway, fans will be treated to numerous FREE outdoor concerts and shows:

  • December 28th, 5:00 PM: The world-famous Battle of the Bands on Broadway, featuring each team's marching band and a concert featuring Champagne Dynamite
  • December 29th, 1:00 PM: Pregame concert featuring Two Story Road
  • December 29th, 7:00 PM (approx.): Postgame concert featuring Journey cover band Ressurection

Oh, and you'll be on Broadway, so you'll be hearing some of the best Nashville has to offer - day and night - from our World Famous Honky Tonks!
