GAME DATE, TIME SET FOR
2013 FRANKLIN AMERICAN MORTGAGE MUSIC CITY BOWL
NASHVILLE, Tenn., (April 22, 2013)– Nashville’s annual post-season Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl has been set by ESPN for Monday, Dec. 30 at 2:15 p.m. CST at LP Field.
“We are excited about this year’s game date, as Monday, December 30 will give SEC and ACC fans a great travel window,” said Scott Ramsey, Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl president and CEO. “We look forward to a great crowd and the opportunity to showcase our city and title sponsor, Franklin American Mortgage Company, in front of millions of viewers on ESPN.”
The 2013 Bowl game will mark the 8th match-up between the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and the Southeastern Conference (SEC) in Nashville. The Bowl’s partnership with the ACC and SEC runs through this college football season.

ESPN has served as the Bowl’s television partner since its inception in 1998 and will televise the Bowl again this year.

Last year’s Bowl game featured hometown Vanderbilt University defeating NC State University 38-24, in front of a crowd of 55,801 on New Year’s Eve.
Renewals for 2013 ticket holders will be sent mid-May and tickets will go on sale to the general public through Ticketmaster on August 30. Premium ticket packages are currently available, which include prime ticket locations, hospitality benefits and corporate exposure.
