Established in 2007, the Franklin American Mortgage Charity Cup hosted by Brandt Snedeker has raised more than $520,000 for Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl designated charities, including The First Tee Program of Nashville, the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl Youth Football Program, and the Brandt & Mandy Snedeker Foundation.

The 7th annual event is set to tee off Monday, October 14th at 8:00 AM at The Golf Club of Tennessee in Kingston Springs. This unique event comprised of conference administrators, influential donors, and celebrity alumni representing both the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and the Southeastern Conference (SEC) member institutions. The two conferences are matched up against each other in a pairings and awarded points in their matches to determine a conference champion.

Once more the SEC will be captained by Vanderbilt alum Brandt Snedeker while the ACC will be captained by Virginia Tech alum Brendon de Jonge.

In the previous six years of its existence, The Franklin American Mortgage Charity Cup has primarily been an ACC dominated event; however, last year the SEC took home the cup.  The ACC still leads the all-time series 4-2.

This year’s event is sure to be an exciting one, beginning with a reception and dinner on Sunday at the Gaylord Opryland and Convention Center followed by the 18-hole match-play event.
