2008 Franklin American Mortgage Charity Cup Photos HERE

The Annual Franklin American Mortgage Charity Cup was established to serve as a fundraiser for the Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl designated charities.  The 3rd annual invitation-only event will be held September 27-28, 2009 at Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center and the exclusive Golf Club of Tennessee where the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) squares off against the Southeastern Conference (SEC) in a Ryder Cup style golf tournament. 

The unique two day event features conference administrators, influential donors and celebrity alumns from the ACC and SEC member institutions, headlined by PGA Tour Rookie of the Year Brandt Snedeker (former Vanderbilt University standout).  

Last year, participants enjoyed a high-end opening night reception featuring a Q&A session with former Ryder Cup Captain and PGA Champion Lanny Wadkins. Bridgestone Golf sponsors the Bridgestone Golf Center which provides the participants with an interactive golf opportunity to improve their game.  Team ACC prevailed over Team SEC, 51.5 - 28.5 in 2008. The match is all-square with the SEC winning the inaugural event in 2007.
