Gary Karl Alexander
Senior Vice President & COO
Gary serves as the Senior Vice President and COO for both the Nashville Sports Council and the Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl Presented By Bridgestone, where his primary duties include day-to-day office administration and support for the Marketing and Events departments for both companies.
Gary has a great deal of experience in the sports industry, having worked for both the United States
Olympic Committee and USA Gymnastics, the governing body for gymnastics in the United States.
His Bachelor of Arts degree comes from Arizona State University. While attending ASU, he was named a four-time All-American in Men’s Gymnastics and later was inducted in the ASU Sports Hall of Fame. He was an Olympic gymnastics judge in Barcelona for the 1992 Olympic Games and is a member of the National Gymnastics Judges Association Hall of Fame. Gary also holds a Masters of Arts degree from the University of Colorado.
Gary enjoys playing golf and keeping saltwater fish. He is married to Sue and has a daughter, Lauren, a son-in-law John, and a grandson Wilson.
