Since the Bowl’s inception in 1998... Did you know?

The Bowl has contributed more than $14 Million in financial payouts to the participating universities.  Payouts directly support collegiate athletics.
The Bowl has pumped more than $95 Million in economic impact for the Nashville community and turned Music City’s slowest tourism week into one of the busiest.
More than 39 Million total viewers and loyal fans have tuned in and watched the Bowl on ESPN’s live television broadcast.
394,613 loyal fans have attended the Bowl since 1998.
NFL stars such as:  Shaun Alexander, Eli Manning, “Cadillac” Williams, Dwight Freeney, Deuce McCallister, Matt Jones, Marion Barber III, Karlos Dansby, Lee Evans, David Pollack, Ronnie Brown, and Keith Bulluck have played in past Bowl games to name just a few.
Each year, hundreds of radio stations from around the country broadcast the Bowl to SEC & ACC fans everywhere including internationally through the Armed Services Radio Network.
In 2005, the SEC and ACC conferences had more than 10 million fans attend regular season games.  SEC and ACC teams are consistently ranked in the Top 25 in the country for college football. 
The Bowl contributed more than $30,000 in 2005 to youth football member leagues and donated more than $140,000 in tickets through its Youth Football Program.
More than 5,000 of our region’s youth and their families attended the Bowl in 2005 with 73 youth football teams participating in the pre-game Champions Ceremony.
The Bowl has contributed thousands of tickets to local charities in the Middle Tennessee region.

 Each year, hundreds of student-athletes participate in the Bowl and all of the special activities that Music City provides during their BOWL Week experience.

During 2005-2006, 28 Bowl games distributed more than $193 million to NCAA universities.  The Bowl system will conservatively payout more than $2.1 Billion over the next 10 years.
